YOUR IMPACT
Each participant on Ecuador 2012 will be responsible for raising a minimum of $250. We set this minimum at a very achievable number, but we hope that $250 will only be the beginning for you. Our team goal will be $7500, and we hope that each participant will be able to raise at least $500.
For those of you that are a little bit more timid of fundraising, we promise you it is totally doable and we are here to support you. Check out the RTBTC Fundraising Guide for tips on how riders usually raise the funds. In the past riders have raised as much as $2000, so $500 should be a breeze, and at the end of the day it is a very rewarding experience.
Funds from the 2012 tour will be going to support Education Generation.
Who We Are
Education Generation is re-imagining the role of education in developing a generation with the confidence, capacity, and
determination to help shape their local and global communities. We work together, $20 at a time, to fund scholarships for young leaders to participate in some the world’s most forward-thinking education programs.
How We Work
We partner with high caliber institutions and community organizations to manage scholarships and student relationships. These organizations are deeply rooted in their communities, and typically emphasize leadership development, creative thinking, entrepreneurial skills and market relevant training, while working to influence their education system as a whole.
